Health and Enrichment

 

The EnTrust Health and Enrichment programs serve adults with health, cognitive, physical and emotional needs. Our Adult Day Health is designed to help maintain and improve a person’s ability to manage chronic care issues, retain independence, and prevent or delay the need to move into an assisted living or skilled nursing facility.

Adult Day Health may be right for adults who:

• Have health conditions which make it difficult to manage their health care
• Have progressive, chronic disabling conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis or Alzheimer’s disease
• Require short- or long-term wound care
• Have difficulty managing their medications
• Have fallen, been hospitalized, or gone to the emergency room twice in the past six months
• Would prefer to stay in their current living situation, but need more support
  

Our support services include:

• Exercise programs, music, meals, crafts and group activities designed to help strengthen the individual’s body, mind and spirit
• Specialized activities focused on life skills and socialization
• Professional counseling for physical, mental and social health issues
• Transportation coordination to and from our facilities
• Personal care assistance: eating, toileting and transfering
  

Registered Nurse on staff to provide:

• Health monitoring, medication and weight management
• Diabetic care and foot care
• Individualized physical, occupational and speech therapy on restorative and maintenance levels
• Dementia care including Alzheimer’s Disease

Family support

Our program is designed to enrich the lives of adults with disabilities and their caregivers by providing participants a safe environment, personal care, and therapeutic activities while also providing respite care and support for families.     

Our Adult Day Health Program is certified by the Washington State Department of Health and Southeast Washington Office of Aging and Long Term Care.
